MYGingerB is a project of our very own Gingerbread Custom ROM for MI300 (and other Commtiva z71 clones).
Based on current Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 source, it aim to be more user friendly, stable and faster for everyday usage. The ROM is built under Linux (Ubuntu 10.10 32bit) environment, coded using Eclipse under Java Development Kit 6.
Maintain by myself. Other developers are welcomed to joined as well.
*Feel free to suggest me a name for this ROM, if MYGingerB isn't good enough, I'm not good with names
Release notes 1.0.3-Stable :
Fixes
- Fixed ROM not root on first install
- Fixed Certain device have low memory issue, mygingerb is now light as ever on first boot
- Fixed Nexus Live Wallpaper high process, Nexus LWP now are optimize for mi300.
New Features
- Featuring SuperAOSP 8.6 AW kernel as default, user still can flash any custom kernel
- Featuring MIUI music apk as default
- Featuring RAM optimization script by juwe11 (XDA developers)
- Featuring Voice Search enabled by default smile.gif
- Google App included
- Added ad block with updated hosts file
- GPS server set to Asia.pool.ntp.org
- Faster GPS lock in, prioritize network location before GPS lock in.
- Minor stability fixes
Known bugs :
- [mygingerb 1.0.2 urgent]Some device will have no root after flash. If that happened, you will have to delete the "su" file in /system/bin via adb, OR you can open up the downloaded ROM with 7zip, or winrar, and delete /system/bin/su.
- Cyanogenmod setting : Automatic brightness setting will caused Force Close

Please read before flash :
Currently, only 1.0.2 and above will support non CM kernel, such as SuperAOSP, Edgar's Ubuntu and SuperOSR to name a few.
Please also note that data (factory reset), cache, dalvik wipe and battery stat wipe via recovery are required before and after flashing the ROM to ensure there are no problem with the installation, this will also ensure stable android experience for every usage.
Notes on things to do after flashing :
If you still have touch screen problem during first boot, try rebooting, if not reflash the ROM via recovery WITHOUT wiping the data, cache, dalvik and battery stat.
Please go to Settings -> Application -> Development
and untick USB debugging and Allow mock location to ensure normal usage.
